Consultation with Children and Young People with SEND
At Moorhouse Academy we recognise the importance of strong and open relationships with parents to ensure the best outcome for pupils.
Teachers/SENCO and Support Staff work collaboratively to identify the support required to meet agreed outcomes. The provision is planned and interventions are allocated to individual needs. Wherever possible, pupils take an active role with setting their outcomes and discussing them with the class teacher/SENCO. Pupils have regular meetings with staff to discuss their progress and support.
